Mariah is an immensely passionate and ambitious musician, singer, teacher, and vocal trainer. With an undergraduate degree in Music and Performing Arts from the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) and currently pursuing her Master's in Music Performance at TUK, Mariah is one of Nairobi's foremost operatic sopranos. She has participated in notable productions such as "Amahl and the Night Visitors," "Nyanga" (the highly acclaimed Kenyan opera), "The Sound of Music," and Haydn's "The Creation" with the Nairobi Music Society.

Mariah is the Director of the St. Veronica Parish Choir in Syokimau and the Assistant Director of the Bel Canto Chorus in Nairobi. She also sings with the TUK choir and is a vocalist with the Awesome Music band. As a dedicated educator, Mariah teaches piano to beginners and serves as a peripatetic teacher, sharing her expertise and passion for music with a broad range of students.

Her aspiration to establish an opera school reflects her commitment to nurturing and growing young musical talents in Kenya. Mariah also aims to pursue a Doctorate in Music Arts in Vocal Performance (DMA). Beyond her performance and teaching roles, she frequently participates as an adjudicator in music festivals, showcasing her well-rounded musical expertise.

Mariah's dedication to music and her versatile skills in Classical, Opera, Jazz, and Contemporary genres, along with her vibrant teaching approach, make her an invaluable member of the Cheza Music School team. She is truly an all-rounded musician committed to excellence and the growth of her students.
