We are virtual. We offer in-home music lessons, meaning our teachers come to your location instead of you traveling to us. This makes learning music convenient and comfortable in your own home.

Cheza Music School provides lessons across Nairobi and surrounding areas, including Westlands, Karen, Lavington, Runda, Kilimani, Lang'ata, Parklands, Gigiri, Kileleshwa, Hurlingham, Tatu City, Membley, Kiambu, Kiamumbi, Kahawa West, Kiambu Town, and Ruiru.

We cater to all age groups! Our lessons are available for children as young as 4 years old (for piano and voice) up to adults of any age. We tailor our teaching approach to suit each student's age, experience level, and learning style.

Yes! All our instructors are highly qualified and experienced musicians. They have a minimum qualification of a diploma in music or grade 5 ABRSM in their instruments. We also conduct regular workshops to continuously improve their teaching skills and keep them updated with modern teaching methods.

Each lesson typically lasts approximately one hour. Our teachers focus on executing their lesson plans effectively rather than watching the clock, ensuring you get quality instruction throughout the session.

Lessons are typically offered once per week for consistent progress. During school holidays, students can have up to 3 lessons per week for more intensive training if desired.

Our pricing is structured as follows:

Within Nairobi: Ksh 2,500 per lesson. A term of 12 lessons costs Ksh 30,000.

Outside but near Nairobi: Ksh 3,360 per lesson. A term of 12 lessons costs Ksh 40,320.

Yes, we offer online lessons. Our technical team will visit your home to help you set up for online lessons, ensuring you have the proper audio and video quality for an effective learning experience.

You need to reschedule or cancel your lessons at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the missed lesson. We understand that schedules change, and we're happy to accommodate rescheduling with proper notice.

Yes, having your own instrument is essential for regular practice and effective learning. We can provide guidance on choosing the right instrument and have partnered with online instrument shops that deliver directly to your home.

Absolutely! You can tell your teacher which songs or styles you want to learn, and they will introduce them when you are ready. We believe in making lessons enjoyable by incorporating music you love.

Yes! We offer comprehensive ABRSM exam preparation for students who wish to pursue a structured and internationally recognized path in their musical education. Our teachers are experienced in preparing students for all grade levels.

Yes! We organize end-of-term recitals in April, August, and December. Every student gets the opportunity to perform at our recitals, which helps build confidence and showcase their progress to family and friends.

We conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress. Additionally, your teacher will prepare a detailed report at the end of every term, highlighting achievements, areas of improvement, and goals for the next term.

If you wish to discontinue lessons, we require one month's notice. This allows us to properly transition and ensure our teachers can adjust their schedules accordingly.
