I’m Hellen Muthoni, a passionate music educator with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) in Music and Kiswahili from Maseno University. My journey in music education has been incredibly fulfilling, and I take great pride in teaching piano, violin and voice to both children and adults. Helping my students discover their unique musical voices and develop technical skills brings me immense joy.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the privilege of training and conducting choirs, leading them to prestigious music festivals, where they've achieved county and national-level recognition. Watching young musicians grow in confidence and skill is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I also enjoy composing music for choirs and fostering strong musical literacy through sight reading and sight-singing. My approach combines traditional techniques with technology to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences. I believe that music education is not just about mastering an instrument but nurturing creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

Beyond the classroom, I’m always exploring ways to enhance my skills as a musician and teacher. I recently pursued advanced violin training. Whether guiding a beginner through their first piano lesson or coaching a choir for a performance, I strive to create an environment where every student feels empowered to reach their potential.
