Home Guitar Teacher Cheza Music School

Students may prepare for the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams.

A pupil may also choose to learn contemporary guitar - that is playing by ear.

This involves learning chords, and chord progressions using fingerstyle and different strum rhythms to accompany oneself or others' singing.

A lesson costs KSh 3,000 for pupils in Nairobi and Kiambu and 2,800 for pupils outside but near Nairobi.

A term has 12 one hour lessons. We charge a fee of 36,000 per term for pupils within Nairobi, and 40,320 per term for pupils outside but near Nairobi.

You can pay the fee in two installments.

Each student will realize that they can be a guitar player.

Focus points will be reading music, strumming and rhythms, improvising, and beginning songwriting for the adult pupils.

Students will also learn basic maintenance of the instrument and how to change strings, clean the guitar’s surface, clean strings, and maintain tuning.
