Course Description

Our guitar lessons in Nairobi offer progressive lessons for children from 6 years old and adults

Our trained teachers will guide you to learn guitar in your favorite style, helping you start playing the guitar as soon as possible.

We provide lessons at the comfort of your home.

We provide in-home guitar lessons and online guitar lessons in various locations, including but not limited to:

Westlands, Karen, Lavington, Runda, Kilimani, Lang'ata, Parklands, Gigiri, Kileleshwa, Hurlingham, Tatu City, Membley, Kiambu, Kiamumbi, Kahawa West, Kiambu Town, and Ruiru.

Whether a beginner or on track, we have lessons suited for you.

We offer free trial lessons to help you decide on which instrument your child will take.

With one-on-one lessons, our teachers focus on each student's progress. This gives them personal attention for the best results.

Our teachers want you to learn guitar songs you feel passionate about, so be sure to tell them what style of music you enjoy!

Guitar lessons for beginners focus on guitar basics like:

Learning to read notes, strum rhythmsplay scales, play basic chords, and other tools essential to play any style of music.

We offer lessons for both classical guitar and acoustic guitar

This is a great way to introduce any young child or beginner to the joy of playing. Our intermediate lessons will progress students to the next level.

We teach basic music lessons that apply to guitar playing.

Students can pick songs they like for their lessons, making them fun and motivating.

Our classical lessons teach sight reading, accompaniment, and college prep work.

Students may prepare for the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams.

A pupil may also choose to learn contemporary guitar - that is playing by ear.

This involves learning chords, and chord progressions using fingerstyle and different strum rhythms to accompany oneself or others' singing.

A lesson costs KSh 1,800 for pupils in Nairobi and Kiambu and 2,500 for pupils outside but near Nairobi.

A term has 12 one hour lessons. We charge a fee of 21,600 per term for pupils within Nairobi, and 30,000 per term for pupils outside but near Nairobi.

You can pay the fee in two installments.

Each student will realize that they can be a guitar player.

Focus points will be reading music, strumming and rhythms, improvising, and beginning songwriting for the adult pupils.

Students will also learn basic maintenance of the instrument and how to change strings, clean the guitar’s surface, clean strings, and maintain tuning.

If you're looking for a guitar instructor near you to turn your musical dreams into reality, choose Cheza Music School.

We will provide you with the best guitar lessons near you - at your home (It can't get nearer!)

Performance is part of learning a musical instrument. We will ensure you perform at the end of every term at our recitals.
